Dot’s First Firework show!

             Dot found her first adventure on the Fourth of July! At first the loud fireworks were a little scary, but after a while, we were amazed! The fireworks were awesome!

Dot and the Capitol of Kentucky!

             Dot had amazing adventures at the Capitol of Kentucky! Whether on the Executive floor, in the Supreme Court room, or walking down the huge marble steps, it was all tons of fun! Dot and I learned a lot about Kentucky’s past and present, and we also learned a good bit about architecture! All in all, it was awesome!

Dot Discovers the Lost River Cave!

             There was plenty of adventure to be had at Lost River Cave! After getting tickets for the cave, Dot helped me pan for gems. We found plenty of crystals, of all shapes and sizes! Soon enough, it was time to explore the cave! We first learned about the Lost River and the story behind at the Blue Hole, where the underground river surfaced. Then it was on to the cave! All of the formations were amazing! Dot had so much fun riding in the boat!

Dot’s Beautiful Butterfly House Experience

             The adventure continues as Dot enters the butterfly house! The flowers and butterflies were beautiful! One butterfly even landed on Dot’s nose, but she immediately shook it off! It was hilarious! There was much to be seen here, and even the fish pond was gorgeous!

Dot’s First Day of School!

             Dot’s next adventure ends up at B. McDaniel Middle School, as she begins the 8th grade with me! Except for band, she sleeps through all our classes, but luckily, I take notes for her!
